About the Role

As DriveWealth enters its next exciting chapter of growth, we're looking for a creative, forward-thinking Media and PR Lead to help shape our story! In this role, you'll be the driving force behind elevating our global brand visibility and taking our public image to new heights. You'll build strong media connections across top-tier international and U.S. outlets, spearhead engaging narratives around financial tech and market innovation, and connect deeply with our audiences to drive long-term impact and growth.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and own media strategy aligned with core business priorities, including promotion of major initiatives, executive thought leadership positioning, and media relations for the CEO and senior team.
  • Identify opportunities, pitch, and secure impactful coverage across broadcast, print, digital, and podcast media.
  • Develop executive positioning and drive media readiness for CEO and leadership team: advise on messaging, manage media interview preparation and bookings, and reactive commentary.
  • Oversee drafting and distribution of press releases announcing product launches, partnerships, milestones, and other newsworthy company developments
  • Develop thought leadership content including executive bylines, op-eds, contributed articles, and media briefing materials that position DriveWealth as an industry authority.
  • Own conference strategy including evaluation and selection of high-impact events, securing keynote and panel opportunities for executives, coordinating with partners and clients for co-marketing and speaking slots.
  • Develop and execute award strategy to strengthen brand reputation and visibility-identify tier-one industry, executive, and workplace culture awards aligned with company positioning, own submission process and content development.
  • Manage external Media Agency, ensuring efficient workflows, and cross-functional coordination across social, PR, conference/event, and executive workstreams.
  • Protect and elevate the brand through proactive reputation management, media monitoring, and rapid-response issue mitigation.
  • Advise on crisis communications scenarios, escalation protocols, and stakeholder messaging in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with DriveWealth stakeholders and internal communications and social media leads to ensure alignment across corporate, executive, and product narratives.
  • Provide international PR support for product launches, partner announcements, and regional initiatives.
  • Track performance and deliver monthly analytics reports with actionable insights.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and platforms to enhance media monitoring, content development, workflow efficiency, and measurement
You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, preferably within financial services, fintech, technology, or a highly regulated industry
  • Established relationships with top-tier financial, business, technology, fintech media with a demonstrated ability to secure meaningful media coverage
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated PR communication strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to counsel senior executives and serve as a trusted communications advisor
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, with ability to translate complex financial, technical, and business concepts into compelling, accessible narratives
  • Demonstrated experience managing media inquiries, executive communications, thought leadership, and strategic media opportunities
  • Experience developing and executing proactive PR campaigns, corporate announcements, and communications initiatives that elevate brand visibility and reputation
  • Strategic thinker with strong business judgement, sounds editorial instincts, and the ability to identify opportunities that strengthen the company's reputation and market presence
  • Familiarity with social media, digital communications, media monitoring, and AI-enabled tools to support content development, communications planning, and performance measurement
  • Experience managing external PR agencies, consultants, and other communications partners
  • Strong understanding of how regulatory developments, market trends, and industry events influence corporate reputation and media narratives
  • FINRA Series 24 license is a plus, but not required
Location

This role is open to candidates in the following locations: New York City, NY - Hybrid
  • This role is expected to come into the office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.

Pay Range: $170,000 - $190,000 USD
