Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location(s): New York, NY or San Francisco, CA

Skillset required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar.
  • 5+ years primarily in consumer electronics and similar products.
  • Advanced solid/surface modeling, SolidWorks preferred.
  • DFM/DFA across injection molding, sheet metal stamping, machining, and casting.
  • Vendor-ready documentation: 3D CAD, 2D drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions.
  • Prototyping (3D printing, casting, rapid tooling) plus hands-on electronics/firmware prototyping.
  • Confident client-facing presentation and storytelling.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Owns mechanical engineering activities autonomously across interdisciplinary projects, from concept through design-for-manufacturability to production.
  • Leads client conversations within their domain, framing trade-offs to guide client choices.
