7+ years of Commercial Marketing experience with a record of meeting core competencies
General Insurance Agent Level 2 license or equivalent
Insurance designations (CAIB, CIP, CRM) are advantageous
Post-Secondary Degree is beneficial
Familiarity with the Epic broker management system is a plus
Responsibilities
Liaise with Practice Group members to assess client needs and make recommendations
Prepare and review submissions to insurers and client proposals
Follow up on documentation requests and abeyances
Collaborate with account teams and market underwriters
Act as technical support for policy coverage inquiries
Monitor the Broking Inbox and respond to inquiries as needed
Lead Marketing team meetings and office hours.

Full Job Description
As Senior Marketer, a typical day might include:
Liaising with Practice Group members to discuss client needs and make recommendations regarding terms and conditions obtained
Providing ongoing servicing as required
Preparing and/or reviewing submissions to insurers and proposals for clients
Creating and following up on abeyances and documentation requests
Collaborating with account teams, underwriters, and markets
Acting as technical support to staff for policy coverage and company underwriting information needs, including policy wording review/comparison and review of contract & lease agreements
Adhering to the Marketing workflow
Attending client meetings, including involvement in RFPs and other such tasks, as required
Monitoring Broking Inbox and responds to inquiries, as directed
Leading Marketing team meetings and Marketing Office Hours
Working closely with Director of Market Management to ensure placements align with marketing strategy
Assisting with Product Development, as directed
Providing risk management consultation

General Insurance Agent Level 2 license through the Insurance Council of British Columbiaor an equivalent license in the individual's province of residence. Level 1 RIBO is sufficient for Ontario residents.
