Full Job Description
This is an onsite position located at our Wilmington MA headquarters.
Responsibilities
  • Own and improve end of line test infrastructure for LocusBot subassemblies and fully integrated robots, including software, calibration, and functional verification
  • Develop and maintain automated test sequences that validate drivetrain, sensor, compute, and power systems against defined acceptance criteria
  • Spend regular time on the manufacturing floor to understand technician pain points, investigate test failures, and implement solutions that improve first-pass yield (FPY) and reduce cycle time
  • Collaborate cross functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to translate design intent into robust, measurable test specifications
  • Perform data analysis (SPC, yield trending, failure mode analysis) to identify systemic quality issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Build intuitive GUI interfaces for production technicians to operate test stations with minimal training overhead
  • Design and build out of new test fixtures and automated test equipment (ATE) as the product line evolves
  • Author and maintain thorough documentation for all test systems, including schematics, process procedures, and test result databases
  • Support pre production validation, debug efforts, and readiness before introducing new test process to the production environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, or Software Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of hands-on industry experience in manufacturing test, production engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in Python (or nice to have: C++) for hardware interfacing actuators, motor controllers, sensors, relays, and power systems
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment, including Bash scripting and command line debugging
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts to diagnose hardware failures at the component level
  • Familiarity with Networking Foundations and Database Management
