Job DescriptionJoin our team as we continue to expand our product portfolio in the Data Center and Carrier Service Provider. The IP Routing Hardware organization is very flat - there are few levels of management between the Individual Contributor and the VP of Hardware. We are also very lean - each Engineer spends more time doing engineering work and less time on overhead. As a result, your work has high visibility, and your decisions directly impact product design.
Responsibilities- Build up system integration test beds for the design verification of new IP Routers
- Plan and execute tests with a deep understanding of the hardware circuitry and software features
- Analyze test results and methodically troubleshoot bugs
- Work with Hardware and Software teams to ensure a high-quality product
Qualifications- Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering
- 4+ years of experience testing complex systems in an R&D team
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- A good understanding of Ethernet, IP, and IEEE telecommunications standards
- Scripting ability in Python
- Foundational knowledge of electronic circuits
