Full Job Description

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Transition products from Design to LCC Manufacturing centers. Represent the Technical Operations team in product development projects, communicating requirements and proposing solutions.

  • Partner with design engineering and facilitates supplier value engineering in product development with strong influence in DFX (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Service).

  • Define and establish manufacturing methods, processes, and tools to streamline new and existing products.

  • Review designs of PCBA’s, cables, metal, and magnetics for production manufacturability.

  • Design and procure assembly tools and fixtures.

  • Create, update and maintain manufacturing process instructions.

  • Structure product BOM’s and establishes routings with associated labor standards.

  • Responsible for coordination of product transfers to manufacturing.

  • Support daily production demand.

  • Travel Requirements: Up to 20 % of Travel is required



Skills You Bring:
BS (EE/ME/IE) with 5+ years of hands on experience in mechanical or electromechanical systems.

  • PCBA, Quality, Reliability, Manufacturing, Cable/Harness, and Magnetics experience is a plus.

  • Written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Experience in problem solving techniques relating to manufacturing process.

  • Experience introducing new products from a prototype to a production environment.

  • Collaboration skills with a passion for manufacturing and operations.

  • Ability to train and mentor production personnel.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $88,425.00 - $147,375.00 USD per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.    At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
