A Day in the Life at MKS:
As aTestEngineer at MKSAndover, you will partner withR&D, Engineering, Product management, Applications, and customers to develop and support vacuum valves.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by contributing to the design and development of advanced productsfor Semiconductor Fabrication Equipment.

  • Design and Build testequipmentfor vacuum valves.

  • Design, execute and documentperformance andlife tests

  • Specifyrequirements for cleanroom facilities

  • Specifyrequirements forhigh purity cleaning equipment

  • Design, specify, and execute test methods for particle metrology


Skills You Bring:

  • Knowledge and experience of high purity vacuum systems

  • Knowledge and experience with particle metrology for semiconductor processing equipment

  • Knowledge and experience of product testing in an R&D environment

  • BS Engineering Degree or equivalent

  • 8+years experience, preferably with Semiconductor Equipment

  • System Design and integration skills involving mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and Labview

Preferred Skills:

  • ExperienceSemiconductor manufacturing equipment

  • Experience withvalves for high vacuum equipment

  • Experience with on wafer particle metrology


Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time

  • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination

  • Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 lbs.

  • Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment

  • Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling vacuum systems, mechanical hardware, and associated laboratory equipment
