Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Manual QA Tester with strong experience across the full software testing lifecycle, including requirements gathering, test planning, test case development, manual test execution, defect triage, and test reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience testing interactions between multiple applications and backend systems, including web services and APIs, along with basic SQL and database knowledge. The role focuses on end-to-end integration testing for customer-facing applications and backend ordering and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze application requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design, document, execute, and report on manual test cases throughout the full testing lifecycle.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing across multiple applications and systems.
• Validate interactions between frontend applications and backend systems.
• Perform web services and API testing to validate system integrations.
• Test customer-facing application workflows and their integration with backend ordering and billing systems.
• Identify, document, and triage defects, helping determine potential causes and impact.
• Work with technical teams to investigate defects and support root-cause identification.
• Use test management tools to create, organize, execute, and track test cases.
• Identify suitable candidates for test automation and route stable test scenarios through the automation process.
• Execute automated tests as needed and collaborate with automation teams when transitioning manual tests to automation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and application quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience with test management tools and test case writing.
• Full software testing lifecycle experience, including requirements gathering, test planning, test case development, manual execution, reporting, and defect triage.
• Experience testing interactions and integrations between multiple applications.
• Experience with web services and API testing.
• Basic SQL querying capabilities.
• Experience working with databases and validating application data.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integration testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand application interactions and identify potential defect causes.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Octane for test planning and test management.
• Experience with Jira for requirements and defect reporting.
• Experience executing automated tests.
• Familiarity with Java/Selenium-based test automation environments.
