Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for clients. They use customer data to provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, evaluating campaign results and adapting the approach to optimize marketing performance.

Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
• Lead complex Acquisition and Lifecycle Management engagements for clients, defining approach by aligning priorities, goals and trends across a range of industries and problem statements
• Lead the development of marketing strategies and campaigns for regional and global clients by working with technology and data
• Own senior client relationships from mid-level to C-suite
• Serve as a trusted client business advisor and generate enthusiasm for the Mastercard team as strategic partners
• Support marketing strategies from opportunity identification through to execution, oversee performance and operations, and engage with clients to validate strategy and discuss results
• Define, prioritize and oversee the activities for team workstreams & sprints to achieve client objectives
• Orchestrate project activities and strategies across marketing channels to align with broader client business objectives
• Develop testing plans and learning agendas to evaluate performance, define learnings and optimize programs
• Manage day-to-day projects and make tactical decisions
• Propose and socialize new solutions, channels and communication formats for media/marketing investment consideration
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operations and marketing activities to better drive growth and favorable KPIs

Team Collaboration & Culture
• Serve as a leader within the Advisors & Consulting Services team who role models and inspires a Growth Hacking mindset
• Guide team through complex problem solving to business-focused solutions and recommendations that drive client value
• Motivate the project delivery team to produce superior quality deliverables, and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
• Own relationships with internal Mastercard stakeholders including Product and Business Development to scope projects, create relevant solutions for clients, and build the firm's intellectual capital
• Share marketplace perspectives and insights on an ongoing basis, including best-in-class marketing solutions and performance expectations
• Lead on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to both direct and outside team members

Qualifications
Basic qualifications
• Undergraduate degree with work experience in marketing across one or more of the following fields: digital marketing, direct response marketing, offline marketing activities/campaigns, media management and planning, digital and social media campaigns, digital customer experience, end-to-end product launches, ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystems
• Experience coaching and leading teams across large, strategic engagements with third parties
• Experience leading vendor and senior client relationships
• Deep knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
• Ability to identify new business development opportunities and adjacencies, and experience leading proposal development and scoping of new opportunities
• Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions, ability to provide industry perspectives and thought leadership
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to leverage AI agents & capabilities to improve team knowledge & productivity
• Ability to lead multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)
• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
• Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis to lead project-related activities including discovery, kick-off, deep-dive workshops, stakeholder interviews, and/or executive read-outs

Preferred qualifications
• Additional marketing experience in one or more of the following fields:
oMarketing and campaign experience from agency environment
oMarketing automation (communication journeys), promotional campaign strategy/execution, and data analytics (communication analysis, data analysis)
oDigital performance media (Facebook, Google, programmatic, SEM, SEO)
oCRM Platforms, such as: Salesforce, Oracle Dynamics, Adobe Cloud, Appsflyer, Adjust and Firebase
oUser Experience and Analytics (media, web, app and CRO analysis)
oSome knowledge/experience with content marketing, LCM, data analytics, branding, social and planning.
• Relevant industry expertise in financial services, payments, fintech, or other related areas
• MBA or master's degree with specialization in marketing or digital (not required)
• Experience leading delivery and implementation of complex solutions and measuring impact on clients' business

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
