Full Job Description
Role Summary

Are you a web marketer who thinks in systems, not just page builds? AdvancedMD's website is one of the most important levers in our growth story - it's where design, development, analytics, and demand generation all meet, and where every visitor touchpoint either builds pipeline or leaks it. The Senior Manager Web Marketing owns that intersection. You'll set the web roadmap, run the testing program, and make sure our site is fast, compliant, and converting.

The Senior Manager Web Marketing moves between two modes that need to run in parallel. One is hands-on and immediate: launching the next A/B test, fixing the tracking issue that's muddying a report, pushing a page live before a campaign goes out. The other is strategic and ongoing: building a prioritized roadmap that balances business goals, technical debt, and stakeholder asks, and standing up a repeatable testing cadence with a real learnings library instead of one-off wins. You'll also be the connective tissue across SEO/GEO, paid media, sales ops, design, and dev - making sure landing pages, tracking, and site architecture all move in the same direction.

You'll own the CMS, the marketing automation tied to on-site behavior, GA4 reporting, and the consent/privacy stack - and increasingly, server-side tagging as browser-side tracking keeps degrading. If you want ownership of a website that's treated as a growth engine, not just a brochure, we'd love to talk.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Own the web roadmap: Build and maintain a prioritized website roadmap that balances business goals, UX improvements, technical debt, and stakeholder requests across marketing, sales, and product
  • Drive CRO and experimentation: Design, launch, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, forms, and key conversion paths; build a repeatable testing cadence and a documented learnings library
  • Manage the CMS: Serve as the primary owner of our WordPress environment overseeing page builds, templates, plugins, site performance, and governance/permissions across contributors
  • Lead marketing automation on the web: Use HubSpot and/or Marketo to manage forms, landing pages, lead scoring, progressive profiling, and nurture flows tied to on-site behavior
  • Own web analytics and reporting: Configure and maintain GA4 (events, conversions, funnels, attribution); deliver regular performance reporting and insights to marketing leadership
  • Manage consent and compliance: Own the cookie consent platform and privacy tooling (e.g., OneTrust, Cookiebot, or similar), ensuring the site meets GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data privacy requirements
  • Partner with SEO/GEO teams: Collaborate with SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) stakeholders on technical SEO, content structure, schema markup, and site architecture to improve organic and AI-search visibility
  • Collaborate with paid media: Work with paid media managers to align landing page experiences, tracking, and UTM/attribution structures with campaign goals; ensure paid traffic converts efficiently
  • Manage server-side tagging: Own or partner closely with dev/analytics engineering on server-side tag management (e.g., server-side Google Tag Manager) to improve data accuracy, page performance, and privacy compliance as browser-side tracking degrades
  • Leverage AI tools: Use AI tools like Claude (and similar) to accelerate content drafting, page copy variants for testing, technical SEO/GEO analysis, QA workflows, and reporting synthesis; identify opportunities to responsibly apply AI across the web marketing function
  • Cross-functional leadership: Act as the connective tissue between engineering/dev resources, design, brand, demand gen, and sales ops to ship web projects on time and on strategy
  • Mentor and manage: Potentially oversee junior web marketers, contractors, or agency partners; set standards for QA, accessibility, and site performance

What You'll Need to Get the Job Done:

  • 7+ years of experience in web marketing, digital marketing, or growth marketing roles, with demonstrated ownership of a company website
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on expertise with WordPress (page building, plugins, basic troubleshooting; HTML/CSS a plus)
  • Proficiency with GA4, including custom events, conversions, and funnel/attribution analysis
  • Experience with HubSpot and/or Marketo, including forms, landing pages, workflows, and lead scoring
  • Proven track record running structured A/B testing and CRO programs (tools like Optimizely, VWO, or GA4 experiments)
  • Working knowledge of consent management platforms and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
  • Experience partnering with SEO teams on technical and on-page SEO; familiarity with emerging GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) practices is a strong plus
  • Experience collaborating with paid media/performance marketing teams on landing page strategy and tracking
  • Familiarity with server-side tag management (e.g., server-side GTM) and how it improves data quality, site speed, and privacy compliance
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in daily workflow for drafting, research, analysis, and productivity with sound judgment about where AI assistance is and isn't appropriate
  • Strong project management skills; comfortable managing multiple roadmap workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate data into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

What Will Make us LOVE You
  • Experience in SaaS, healthcare, or health IT
  • Experience supporting both a sales-led and a product-led motion
  • Experience with basic HTML/CSS/JS troubleshooting within a CMS environment
  • Familiarity with client-side and server-side tag management (Google Tag Manager, server-side GTM containers)
  • Background in B2B SaaS or a similarly complex buying journey
  • Experience managing external agencies or freelance developers/designers
  • Experience through a martech migration or replatforming

Work Environment
  • While Hybrid is our preferred approach company-wide, work arrangements vary by team and role. Many positions offer meaningful remote work opportunities based on individual performance, team structure, and alignment with role KPIs. Certain teams, however, require a Full In-Office presence due to the nature of their work or collaboration needs.

Specific expectations for this role will be discussed during the interview process.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with generous company match
