POSITION DESCRIPTION

Virtual Senior Sales Manager will oversee sales presentations generated from inhouse owners and guests over the computer using screen-sharing technology and processes to reload Owner accounts. This person will be responsible for assisting agents with closing sales, recruiting, managing processes and managing sales agents. The ideal candidate will help sales executives personalize the sales experience to the individual needs and preferences of each potential owner upgrade experience. They will assist in maintaining the customer relationships after the sale is complete to ensure continued owner satisfaction with the organization and to develop future business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  1. Develops and coaches the Sales Consultants and Sales Managers for continuous improvement. This is a remote position, managing remote, virtual sales agents in an in-house environment talking to owner tours. Manages sales consultants with frequent interaction.
  2. Assists sales executives with closing deals, responsible for site production and also personal production of virtual sales agents. Assist sales lines to close the sale, initiate the purchase process, and assist in the absence of the Sales Director. Assists all team members in ensuring all questions are answered in a professional, informative, diplomatic and correct manner. Achieves personal and departmental written objectives as established.
  3. Executes proper Sales Training. Assists the Sales Training department in evaluating and coaching the Sales Consultants for continuous improvement. Ensures and/or performs a 1-1 coaching session with Sales Consultants as needed and provides evaluation, coaching, and the assignment of an action plan for improvement and the follow-up to that established plan. Provides demonstration and assessment call reviews as needed with assigned Sales Consultants. Conducts personal sales presentations as needed or scheduled. Conducts daily/weekly team meetings. Coordinates and executes all sales staff scheduling to meet mark. Responsible for recruiting, selecting, and hiring. Coaches all new hire sales consultants to meet and/or exceed minimum sales performance standards. Ensure sales call reviews are scheduled and performed for Sales Consultants. Conducts performance appraisals.
  4. Reviews sales performance against budgeted objectives. Reviews all customer cancellations and resolves customer service challenges. Resolves all customer service challenges. Reviews all pending business and all customer cancellations. Manages all outstanding accounts and pending business. Acts as liaison between all resort contacts.
  5. Assists with directing and coordinating activities of the sales operation in accomplishing objectives and policies and defined sales goals. Responsible for technology training with sales executives, staying on top of policies within the department, and relaying that information and training to the sales team. Ensures the professional dress policies are enforced. Participate/assist on special projects as assigned. Recognizes, supports and implements policies and procedures established by Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Supports and upholds the mission, vision and philosophies of Holiday Inn Club Vacations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Higher education encouraged.
  • Five plus years of timeshare experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred, not required.
  • Verifiable sales management statistics.
  • Bilingual helpful but not required.
  • Strong technology skills, specifically Microsoft 365 and other virtual applications. Must be comfortable in a virtual environment and a tech problem solver.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Arizona Real Estate License or Nevada Timeshare License required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three plus years of timeshare experience.
  • Proven track record of success in Timeshare sales and/or Timeshare sales training.
  • Must be process oriented with attention to detail.
  • Compelling leadership abilities.
  • Must be able to manage staff, meet sales and staffing requirements and develop ongoing associate training.
  • Must have the ability to manage and motivate team members while working effectively with Executive Management.
  • Self-directed and independent but works as a team player.
  • Persuasive interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, service or product from guests and co-workers.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong technology skills, specifically Microsoft 365 applications and general computer knowledge that applies in a remote environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a remote position, requiring high speed internet and a quiet, private working environment. Equipment will be provided.

WORK SCHEDULE

Must be flexible as needed for business operation and be flexible as needed for business operations to include travel plans. General schedule is Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays as needed for business needs 9:30-5:30 pm pst.
