We are looking for a Senior Technical Sourcing Manager - IC Test to lead sourcing strategy for semiconductor test equipment, hardware, and manufacturing services supporting current and next-generation products.

You will work at the intersection of Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Operations, and business strategy, with particular ownership of ATE testers and test hardware deployed across our global OSAT and test partner network.

This role is responsible for ensuring the technology, equipment, capacity, cost, utilization, and supply assurance required to support new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Own global sourcing strategy for IC test equipment, test hardware, and outsourced test services, from product development through high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of ATE testers and associated hardware, including company-owned or consigned equipment deployed at OSATs.
• Partner with Product and Test Engineering to align ATE platforms, configurations, test hardware, and capacity with product and technology roadmaps.
• Develop sourcing strategies across wafer sort, final test, system-level test, ATE, probe cards, load boards, sockets, handlers, probers, and related test equipment.
• Lead commercial negotiations for ATE purchases, volume agreements, pricing, lead times, warranties, service agreements, upgrades, spares, and equipment support.
• Develop and execute strategies for test assets, including equipment placement, OSAT commercial terms, utilization targets, maintenance responsibilities, asset tracking, redeployment, and end-of-life disposition.
• Develop long-range test capacity and capital plans based on product forecasts, test time, equipment utilization, throughput, and manufacturing requirements.
• Optimize deployment of test assets across OSATs to maximize utilization, flexibility, and return on invested capital.
• Lead sourcing and executive relationships with strategic ATE, test hardware, equipment, and OSAT partners.
• Negotiate test service pricing, NRE, equipment investments, capacity commitments, tooling, and long-term supply agreements.
• Develop cost and capacity models incorporating test time, parallelism, utilization, yield, throughput, equipment depreciation, and capital requirements.
• Present test sourcing strategies, capital requirements, supplier recommendations, and key risks to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductors, IC test, semiconductor equipment, technical sourcing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, including wafer sort and final test.
• Direct experience sourcing or managing ATE platforms and semiconductor test hardware.
• Strong understanding of test capacity economics, including test time, parallelism, utilization, throughput, yield, and equipment cost.
• Demonstrated success leading complex capital equipment and supplier negotiations.
• Experience supporting semiconductor products from development through qualification, ramp, and high-volume production.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into equipment, capacity, sourcing, and supplier strategies.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to travel internationally.

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience

• Experience working with leading ATE suppliers, including Advantest and Teradyne, and their associated test ecosystems.
• Experience sourcing probe cards, load boards, sockets, handlers, probers, and other test interface equipment.
• Experience negotiating ATE purchases, volume agreements, capital investments, capacity reservations, and equipment service agreements.
• Experience managing significant capital equipment portfolios distributed across multiple OSAT manufacturing locations.
• Experience supporting AI, high-performance computing, networking, data center, or other complex semiconductor products.

Salary Range:

$161,500-$218,500 per year
