Full Job Description
Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Sourcing to support our Men’s and Women’s Lifestyle apparel brands, with a focus on wovens. This role is a key strategic partner to Design, Merchandising, and Production teams, responsible for driving sourcing strategies, optimizing vendor partnerships, and delivering against margin and timeline targets.

This position requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, along with deep product and fabric expertise.

 

Sourcing Strategy & Product Development

  • Partner closely with Design and cross-functional teams to translate seasonal vision into executable sourcing strategies
  • Drive innovation in fabrics, yarns, and construction techniques aligned with market trends and business objectives
  • Ensure development is executed with the right vendors to deliver optimal cost, quality, and performance

Vendor Management & Global Sourcing

  • Build, manage, and continuously optimize a strategic global vendor base
  • Establish strong partnerships with mills, agents, and factories to support business needs and innovation
  • Evaluate and onboard new vendors in partnership with Compliance and ESG teams
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, lead times, and terms to support margin and delivery goals

Costing & Margin Management

  • Analyze detailed cost breakdowns and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
  • Drive margin improvement initiatives without compromising quality or delivery
  • Maintain and provide visibility into margin reporting and cost tracking

Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee sourcing from development through production to ensure alignment with timelines and quality standards
  • Proactively identify risks in sourcing, costing, or production, and implement solutions
  • Ensure SMS development aligns with vendor capabilities, pricing targets, and prior performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a key liaison between Design, Merchandising, Sales, and Production teams
  • Participate in merchandising and development meetings, providing insights on cost, feasibility, and sourcing options
  • Leverage materials and sourcing strategies across divisions to drive efficiencies

Compliance & Systems

  • Ensure adherence to customer and company compliance standards (testing, labeling, packing, AQL requirements)
  • Utilize systems such as SAP, PLM, IBT, and related tools to maintain data accuracy and reporting

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000

 

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent.  Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment.  The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.  Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
