- Architect solutions around ICA/HDX protocols (EDT, TCP, UDP optimization)
- Design for high-definition user experience across devices and networks
Engineering LeadershipLead teams working on:
- HDX protocol enhancements
- Virtual channel development
- Client-server performance tuning
- Mentor engineers and drive design reviews (very aligned with your leadership style)
Cross-functional Collaboration- Networking teams (ADC / NetScaler)
- Cloud teams (Azure, AWS DaaS)
- Product & PM teams
Capacity Planning & Scalability- Forecast user load and bandwidth needs
- Optimize server density and cost efficiency
- Ensure consistent experience at scale
Security & Compliance- Ensure secure HDX transport (TLS, Secure ICA)
- Define policies for data protection and endpoint control
Systems & Networking- Strong understanding of:
- TCP/UDP, QoS, WAN optimization
- Windows OS internals
Leadership- Experience managing engineering or platform teams
- Ability to drive architecture and long-term vision
Qualifications8-15+ years in Citrix / VDI / virtualization
- Experience designing large-scale Citrix environments
- Certifications (nice to have):
- Citrix CCE-V / CCP-V
- Azure / AWS architecture certs
- Strong debugging and performance engineering background
