About the role:

  • The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate's geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
    • United States (all figures cited below are in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
      • Zone A: $188,000 - $235,000
      • Zone B: $176,000 - $220,000
      • Zone C: $164,500 - $206,000
    • Canada (all figures cited below are in CAD and pertain to workers in Canada)
      • 205,000 - 256,000

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

As a Senior Manager, Sales Compensation, you'll:
  • Lead the annual sales compensation design process from start to finish, including selecting compensation metrics, designing plan structures, and overseeing the successful rollout and enablement for the sales team.
  • Own the complete administration of sales compensation plans, ensuring the timely and accurate payout of commissions and incentives while managing all related policies and documentation.
  • Partner closely with leadership in Sales, Finance, and Total Rewards to ensure that all compensation and incentive programs, including SPIFFs and partnerships agreements, are aligned with strategic business priorities and drive a pay-for-performance culture.
  • Deliver insightful analytics and reporting to leadership on key performance indicators such as quota attainment, capacity modeling, and compensation effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop a team responsible for sales compensation and deal strategy, including a direct report focused on the financial impacts of non-standard deal structures.
About you:

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, finance, or a related field; minimum 1 year of people management experience.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for an executive audience.
  • Deep expertise in developing, administering, and communicating sales compensation plans to various audiences, from sales representatives to senior leaders.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Legal, and HR; proven ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with compensation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Salesforce); familiarity with deal desk or custom pricing strategies is a plus.
