Full Job Description
About the Role

As Senior Manager, Restaurant Ads & Promotions, you will be our team's senior subject-matter expert and commercial advocate for DoorDash's largest Enterprise restaurant advertisers. You will know our biggest brands inside out, build the account-level strategies that move their advertising investment with us, and shape the product roadmap that unlocks the next wave of Enterprise demand. You will be the person in the room when DoorDash negotiates long-term contracts with these brands, protecting and growing the ads business within those deals. You will work cross-functionally every day with Product, Data Science, Sales and Account Management, Finance, Legal, and the US Marketplace team.
  • Own deep account-level Ads & Promotions strategy for our top Enterprise merchants, building high-confidence, merchant-specific plans across product, measurement, and relationships that move their advertising investment rates
  • Serve as the Ads & Promotions DRI for MSA and other long-term contractual negotiations, sizing the impact of any advertising components, setting the guardrails, and ensuring these commitments set us up for continued success
  • Model out complex cross-functional tradeoffs and bring a strong, defensible point of view to senior leadership
  • Stand up the processes and tools that raise our merchant business intelligence, turning call notes, feedback, and data into a living corpus that informs strategy and a regularly reviewed, stack-ranked input to the product roadmap
  • Represent the needs of Enterprise merchants and account teams to influence the Product roadmap for high-value, complex use cases across advertiser experience, measurement, credits, and franchise
  • Bring new advertising and promotions capabilities to market for Enterprise clients, enabling successful adoption both internally and externally
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Own: Be the credible, go-to expert on our largest advertisers and the strategies that grow them
  • Advocate: Represent Ads & Promotions in high-stakes commercial negotiations and protect the long-term health of the business
  • Model: Frame ambiguous, cross-functional tradeoffs with data and carry a strong point of view to executives
  • Shape: Influence the Enterprise product roadmap by translating merchant needs into clear, prioritized requirements
  • Influence: Drive alignment and outcomes across Product, Data Science, Sales, Finance, and US Marketplace without direct authority
We're excited about you because...
  • You have 8+ years of experience in strategy & operations, commercial strategy, management consulting, investmebusiness development, or a closely related field, with a track record of owning ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end
  • You have owned the strategy for large, sophisticated customers or partners and can build a credible, account-specific point of view
  • You are comfortable in or adjacent to commercial negotiations (MSAs, up front agreements, pricing, partnerships) and can hold your ground against counterparts with competing incentives
  • You have strong quantitative and structured problem-solving skills, can self-serve data (intermediate+ SQL/Excel), and can defend your conclusions to skeptical executives
  • You communicate complex ideas clearly across technical, commercial, and executive audiences
  • Advertising, ad-tech, retail-media, or restaurant/marketplace experience is preferred
