General Responsibilities:
Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Effectively managing scope, schedule, resources, budget and communicating status, impediments, and risks/issues of the program/project
Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Displaying a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style
Influencing and managing a large set of stakeholders/Intent owners across COF ranging from VP+ to associate
The person will:
Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to thrive in gray space and quickly putting structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 8 Years of Project Management experience
At least 1 Year of People Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
At least 10 years of Project Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project ManagementMcLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management
New York, NY: $193,800 - $221,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
