The COSMC portfolio is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead key development and production programs focused on maturing open systems products. This role serves as a central point of alignment to guide programs through the full lifecycle while ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, performance, and delivery expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and site leadership to drive program success and business growth.
This is an Onsite role located at our Cedar Rapids location. Additional locations for this opportunity include our McKinney, TX or Fort Wayne, IN sites.What You Will Do- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, and risk assessments to ensure program success.
- Lead programs through the full lifecycle, including design, development, production, and delivery.
- Manage executive-level program reviews and provide visibility to customers and site leadership.
- Drive pursuits and order capture activities, including leading contract negotiations.
- Shape long-term value stream strategies to foster business growth.
- Address issues affecting customer commitments by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure programs remain aligned with cost, schedule, and performance expectations.
- Periodically travel to customer facilities in support of program execution.
Qualifications You Must Have- Experience developing and maintaining program plans, schedules, milestones, risk assessments, or executive-level program reviews.
- Experience managing programs through the full lifecycle, including development and production.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer- Experience managing programs or product lines within the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other complex technical industry.
- Understanding of Modular Open Systems Approaches and relevant standards.
- Experience with proposal development and negotiations.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
