Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies, multi-year product roadmaps, and portfolio plans aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Lifecycle Management: Lead the complete product lifecycle for assigned product lines, including concept development, commercialization, growth, portfolio optimization, and retirement decisions.
  • Commercial Planning: Translate customer insights, market opportunities, application requirements, and portfolio strategies into product requirements, launch strategies, pricing approaches, and lifecycle plans.
  • Portfolio Performance: Develop product business plans, revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, profitability targets, and investment recommendations that support portfolio growth and financial performance.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Scientific, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial stakeholders to support product development, commercialization, go-to-market execution, and customer adoption.
  • Market Insights: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer feedback, portfolio performance, and lifecycle indicators to identify risks, growth opportunities, enhancements, and expansion strategies.


Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, or equivalent experience (Master's degree and 8 years, PhD and 5 years, or HS Diploma and 16 years).
  • Experience developing and executing product strategies, multi-year roadmaps, portfolio plans, commercialization plans, pricing strategies, and lifecycle plans.
  • Knowledge of advanced cellular models and primary cell products, including organoids, induced pluripotent stem cells, 3D culture systems, hepatocytes, and PBMCs.
  • Experience supporting biomedical research, drug discovery, disease modeling, toxicology, precision medicine, or cell and gene therapy markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer feedback, financial performance, and portfolio performance to guide product and investment decisions.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Scientific, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, customers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
  • Experience presenting product strategies, business cases, portfolio performance, investment recommendations, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams of professional level individual contributors, mentoring staff, supporting performance management, and aligning execution with organizational objectives.


Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
