As a Senior Manager, you will be at the heart of our data center business, driving the technical strategy and execution for our advanced fluid conveyance solutions.
This is more than a management role; it's an opportunity to be a key technical partner to the world's leading hyperscalers and OEMs. You will lead a talented team of application engineers, empowering them to ensure proper application design and deployment of liquid cooling solutions with a focus on quick disconnects to complex hose assemblies, to meet the ever-evolving demands of the industry. What You'll Be Doing- Lead & Mentor a High-Performing Team: Guide a regional group of Product Application Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity. You will guide them in how best to serve our customers' technical needs, managing complex application recommendations, and develop your team's capabilities. As part of the overall customer success team, they will partner very closely with sales and customer support.
- Drive Technical Sales & Program Execution: Oversee the entire technical engagement lifecycle, from initial customer request (RFQ) to final product deployment. You'll ensure your team provides optimal, high performance -solutions and manages the smooth transition of new business from design to production by working with design engineering and operations.
- Champion Customer Success: Act as a key technical liaison for hyperscalers, OEMs, and manufacturers. You will meet with customers to understand their unique challenges, build trust through your technical expertise, and ensure our solutions deliver exceptional value and performance. Travel expectation of 15%-25%
- Develop & Implement Regional Strategy: Create and execute a short- and long-term application engineering strategy that aligns with our global business goals, setting a clear vision for your team and our role in the market.
- Influence Product Innovation: Be the voice of the customer within Danfoss. You will consolidate gaps, local insights and market trends to influence our product roadmap, identify solution gaps, and ensure we remain a leader in data center technology. You will collaborate with sales on account strategy.
- Run The Business: As a staff member reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales and Applications, you will be part of a global leadership team that will have input to our strategic direction and responsibility for leading our daily success.
What We're Looking ForWhat You'll Need to Succeed:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in an Engineering or Sales Engineering capacity.
- Proven ability to lead or mentor engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements (e.g., flow, pressure, material compatibility)
