Job Description Summary:
The Senior Manager, Pharma Support Services - Specialty Operations is responsible for overseeing all patient registration activities & operations for multiple CMC's, or for a specific region/area. The Senior Manager, Pharma Support Services - Specialty Operations manages the overall performance and productivity of the PR teams in facilitating all aspects of the patient's transition to home/AIS with the goal of delivering a consistent onboarding experience where patients and referral partners feel Option Care Health makes it easy to transition care.
Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
  • Directly oversees the patient registration activities with multiple CMC's, or for a specific region/area to ensure all performance expectations for time to yes, quality and cash collections (COH, denial) are achieved.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees. Directs work, appraises performance and manages all aspects of succession planning; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Analyzes and monitors key PR performance to effectively identify key trends, implement corrective actions and effectively communicating outcomes to senior management.
  • Monitors daily performance including team member coaching: 1) Quality - Ensure team member consistency in obtaining required paperwork, dialogue, securing payment 2) Speed - Ensure timely actions with each step of the referral flow and handoffs. 3) Customer Service - Ensure consistent demonstration of exceptional customer service with every customer (both internal and external).
  • Collaborates with cross-functional leaders across Operations, Reimbursement, Compliance and Sales to drive Patient Registration priorities.
  • Interfaces extensively across all operation and reimbursement functions to ensure processes are streamlined and align with payer regulations and company policies.
  • Assists with the development and rollout of key patient registration initiatives.
  • Manages all aspects of the sites claims on hold, denial, cash collection process.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of previous patient registration management experience, OR
  • At least 6 years of previous patient registration experience.

  • Ability to multi-task and drive numerous priorities at one time.
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.
  • High degree of customer service skills required.

Physical Demand Requirements
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time on a personal or laptop computer.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, reaching.

  • Previous home health care experience preferred.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $78,973.32-$131,614.70
