- State of the art 25,000 sq ft hospital equipped with the latest veterinary technology, including two digital radiography suites, 64-slice CT, MRI, a Varian TrueBeam Edge radiation machine, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, digital cytology, an interventional surgical suite, multiple ultrasounds, and the only hemoperfusion unit in DFW.
Schedule- As a new Emergency Department, we have created three different scheduling options that will be discussed during the interview process. Our intent is to find a schedule that meets the needs of our hospital and all of our emergency team while maintaining a strong quality of life by minimizing burnout risk.
Cases- Our ER will strive for the highest level of triage care in DFW
- Doctors will have the ability to transfer appropriate cases to our specialty departments the next day
- We intend to serve all emergency cases from minor routine to critical ailments
- We anticipate a large population of our cases to be current VCA Dallas patients
- ER doctors will have the opportunity to perform a variety of emergent surgical procedures and will have the support of three board-certified surgeons

Compensation- Up to $180,000 base salary. Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials.

Qualifications- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
