What is the Opportunity?

Personal Banking's Value Office is a dynamic team of professionals within the COO Group driving strategic insights and actionable plans across various priorities. Within this high-impact group, the Business Performance & Portfolio Team plays a critical role in helping leaders manage business performance by delivering integrated insights, forward-looking analysis and recommendations that drive decision-making, improve execution, and deliver stronger business outcomes.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Performance Strategy & Insights, to transform how Personal Banking measures, analyzes and manages business performance. This role will develop best-in-class performance management capabilities by connecting strategy, business drivers, initiatives and financial outcomes. The successful candidate will combine structured problem solving, analytical rigor, business and financial acumen, executive storytelling, and stakeholder leadership to simplify complex problems and build scalable solutions that improve business outcomes.

What Will You Do?
  • Provide Data-Driven Performance Insights: Deliver actionable insights by analyzing key metrics to identify drivers, risks, opportunities and actions to improve business performance.
  • Structured Problem-Solving: Solve complex & ambiguous challenges and support the team in articulating recommendations, leveraging leading practice, frameworks, and principles, that shape executive decisions on performance priorities, strategic initiatives, resource allocations, trade-offs, and management actions.
  • Transform Performance Management Framework: Support the evolution of business performance management model and build a best-in-class performance management discipline, building clearer linkages between strategy, business drivers, initiatives, investments and financial outcomes.
  • Advance Governance and Reporting Routines: Develop repeatable governance processes and executive reporting that improve visibility into business performance and help focus leadership discussions on decisions and actions needed to improve business outcomes.
  • Act as a Strategic Thought Partner: Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align on performance expectations and develop an integrated view of business performance.
  • Advance AI Adoption: Leverage AI and analytic tools to improve workflow efficiency, performance diagnostics and foresights.


What Do You Need To Succeed?

Must-Have
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in strategy, management consulting, finance, business analytics, or performance management roles
  • Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous business issues and develop practical recommendations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience translating complex data into actionable executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience analyzing business performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders across multiple functions.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in retail banking or financial services related field
  • Deep understanding of macroeconomic and industry dynamics, Personal Banking products and client trends
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant advanced credentials.
