Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Senior Manager, PB & CB Finance will focus on platform income statement analysis and insights, providing leadership and subject matter expertise for PB & CB's P&L forecast. They will be responsible for leading the forecasting and planning process for Personal Banking and Commercial Banking, partnering with Enterprise Performance Management, Business Financial Advisors, Personal Banking Value Office and Corporate Treasury. The Senior Manager will also provide business executives and senior management of PB & CB with analysis and insights on trends, while streamlining global forecasting, planning and strategic outlook requirements platform wide and enhancing internal monitoring capabilities
What is the opportunity?- Responsible for the Board Forecast, 5 Year Outlook, and Plan submissions and management of the P&L for PB & CB.
- Responsible for the Quarterly Assurance Review (QAR) submission for PB & CB
- Lead monthly PB & CB P&L estimates for HOPM and management.
- Develop and maintain tools for deeper business insights on PB & CB Financial Performance
- Work closely with PB & CB Financial Advisors and functional support groups develop accurate P&L forecasts and estimates to support business growth
- Develop commentary and presentations to support forecast and estimates, and present to Senior Management
- Support Personal Banking and Commercial Banking Performance Management team with quarterly deliverables
- Support Executive Presentation Packages for Personal Banking, and Group Executive Forums
- Work in conjunction with a variety of enterprise systems to coordinate planning deliverables
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to streamline the forecast and planning processes.
What you need to succeed?Must Have- CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent designation
- 5+ years of related experience with performance management
- Excellent analytical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Comfortability with presenting findings and recommendations with impact to senior audiences
- Strong business, finance & accounting knowledge
- The ability to distill complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership
- Proficient with MS Excel, especially for modeling
- Attention to detail & works with minimal instruction
- Comfortable dealing with incomplete, complex information
- Ability to work under pressure, focus on priorities & multi-task
Nice to Have- Knowledge of EPM, RBC Finance and AI tools & processes
