Full Job Description
Talkiatry is growing fast, and the programs behind our care model have to grow with us. Our Central Clinical Operations team is where that happens. It is the engine that turns frontline reality into scalable programs, takes work off clinicians' plates, and builds the operating backbone that lets Talkiatry add clinicians and patients without adding friction.

As Sr. Manager, Operational Programs, you sit inside that engine. You'll own and improve high-priority programs that touch clinicians, patients, and internal teams directly. The work is concrete, some examples: the onboarding experience that gets a new clinician booked and ramping from day one, the automations and tooling that let a lean team run a large operation, and the operating models for brand-new lines of business - and many more exciting and impactful projects.

This is a hands-on job for someone who likes the details. You'll troubleshoot problems as they surface, then step back and fix the system that caused them. You'll combine frontline context, operational data, and a working knowledge of our systems to make the work run better, and you'll partner across Data, Product, Engineering, and Clinical to make the improvements stick.

Every program you build either gets a clinician ramped sooner, gives a clinician time back for patients, or lets Talkiatry serve more people. Do it well and you help build the operational foundation that lets us deliver high-quality care at scale.

You'll join our central Clinical Operations team and report to our VP of Operational Programs.

You will:
  • Run high-priority programs. Own the day-to-day of the programs behind our care model, from clinician onboarding to network support. Keep them reliable, troubleshoot what breaks, and hold clear accountability for how they perform.
  • Turn data into insight, and insight into action. Own the analytics your programs run on. Build the dashboards and reporting, dig into the numbers to find what's driving performance, and translate what you find into decisions the team acts on.
  • Fix the system, not just the symptom. Take an initiative from problem definition through launch and measurement. Diagnose the root cause, simplify manual and fragmented processes, cut redundant work, and design workflows.
  • Automate what doesn't need a human. Find the repetitive, resource-heavy work and replace it with automation, AI, and better tooling, so a lean team can run a large operation. Learn the systems fast and partner with Data, Product, and Engineering to build.
  • Drive it across the org. Align stakeholders, run the workgroups, clear the blockers, and lead the change management that gets your work adopted and kept. Measure it the way we do: a clinician ramped sooner, time given back to patient care, or more patients served without stretching the team thinner.
You have:
  • Quantitative and rigorous. You're fluent with metrics, dashboards, and spreadsheets, and you turn data into a clear narrative for people at every level of analytical comfort. You let the numbers set the priorities.
  • Builder-operator. 4-6+ years in consulting, operations, program management, or implementation. You like running the nuts and bolts of a business, you're as comfortable deep in a workflow as you are zoomed out on the system, and you create structure where there isn't any.
  • Systems thinker. You see how workflows, data, tools, and stakeholders connect, and you use that to build change that lasts instead of fixes that don't.
  • Automation and AI instinct. You reach for automation and AI and tooling before you reach for more headcount. You're genuinely curious about new technology, including AI, and quick to learn a new system and put it to work.
  • Cross-functional operator. You get work done through people who don't report to you. You align stakeholders, hold momentum across messy initiatives, and earn trust through preparation and follow-through, not title.
  • Motivated by the mission. You care about mental health and want your work to show up as better care for patients and a better experience for clinicians.
Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or another regulated, high-growth environment
  • Familiarity working within an EHR
  • Hands-on experience with automation or no-code/low-code tooling
Why Talkiatry:
  • Top-notch team: we're a diverse, experienced group motivated to make a difference in mental health care
  • Collaborative environment: be part of building something from the ground up at a fast-paced startup
  • Excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, effective day 1 of employment, 401K with match, generous PTO plus paid holidays, paid parental leave, and more!
  • Grow your career with us: hone your skills and build new ones with our Learning team as Talkiatry expands
  • It all comes back to care: we're a mental health company, and we put our team's well-being first
