What you'll be doing

The Everyday Banking Acquisition & Onboarding team helps more clients discover and join CIBC through thoughtful acquisition strategies and compelling value propositions. As a Senior Manager, Offer Strategy and Acquisition Insights, you'll lead the development of acquisition insights and offer strategies that support growth across chequing and credit card products. You'll analyze client, competitor, and market trends to shape channel-specific strategies, go-to-market plans, and offer positioning for priority client segments. You'll lead acquisition performance planning, budgeting, and investment optimization to support profitable, scalable growth. You'll also track acquisition profitability across products, client segments, and channels, while partnering with teams across the business, including Credit Risk Strategy, to identify opportunities and validate insights. In a test-and-learn environment, you'll continuously assess performance and refine strategies to improve results.

How you'll succeed
  • Lead acquisition insights - Develop and deliver insights across acquisition channels using client, competitor, and market analysis to inform strategic decision-making for Chequing and credit card growth.
  • Shape offer strategy - Design and optimize offer positioning, timing, and value propositions to ensure relevance for priority client segments and alignment with channel-specific strategies.
  • Drive performance planning - Lead acquisition planning activities, including sales planning, budgeting, and investment optimization, to support profitable and scalable growth.
  • Measure business outcomes - Track and assess acquisition profitability across products, channels, and client segments to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with partners - Partner with cross-functional teams, including Credit Risk Strategy and other business stakeholders, to validate insights, improve client quality, and strengthen acquisition outcomes.
  • Advance continuous improvement - Work in a test-and-learn environment, using performance results and emerging insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness over time.
