The Senior Manager, Offer Design & Delivery is a leadership position within Scotiabank's Canadian Banking Campaign Analytics team. This role provides strategic oversight and operational leadership for all offer configuration and fulfillment activities across mass and targeted marketing campaigns. The position reports to the Director, Campaign Analytics, and manages a team of four responsible for offer configuration and fulfillment across in-market campaigns.

Key Accountabilities
  • Serve as the central point of contact and accountability for all offer configuration activities across mass and targeted campaigns.
  • Oversee the end-to-end offer configuration lifecycle, from business requirements through in-market execution on the offer management platform, ensuring scalable and consistent delivery across products and offer types.
  • Oversee the offer intake process, manage team capacity planning for offer fulfillment, maintain intake SLAs, and balance delivery timelines with resource availability.
  • Lead operational oversight and coordinate with issue management teams on investigations, inquiries, and remediation activities related to offer payouts.
  • Monitor in-market offer performance and operational health, support issue triage and escalation, and implement corrective actions to protect the customer experience.
  • Provide consultation and subject matter expertise to business and product teams on existing offer capabilities and new offer constructs. Translate campaign objectives into platform-ready requirements and configurations, and collaborate with stakeholders across Canadian Banking business lines and cross-functional teams, including Campaign Execution, Marketing, Technology, QA, and channel partners.
  • Manage the vendor governance structure, including monthly 360 health checks, SLA monitoring, incident response, change management, and financial oversight in accordance with contractual obligations; escalate issues as required.
  • Lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap for offer configuration and offer management capabilities. Partner closely with engineering and product teams to prioritize platform enhancements, define requirements for new capabilities, and drive innovation that supports evolving business needs and market opportunities.
  • Present progress, insights, and business impact to stakeholders and senior leadership, while maintaining strong communication with technology partners to inform future enhancements and capabilities.


Skills and Experience
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, or campaign execution within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • 3-5+ years of people management experience leading teams of managers or senior professionals, with demonstrated success in driving performance and building high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and configuring offers for mass and targeted marketing campaigns using offer management or decisioning tools (e.g., Zafin zPlatform or similar platforms such as Salesforce Offer Management). Direct experience with Zafin is preferred.
  • Experience in campaign execution or marketing operations with a focus on offer and incentive management, including eligibility, fulfillment, and customer communications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while balancing timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong understanding of data flows and offer system or platform capabilities, including inputs, constraints, rule logic, and downstream fulfillment, to effectively configure offers and troubleshoot issues.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, along with experience handling large datasets; familiarity with tools and environments such as DB2, SAS, Python, and/or Google Cloud Platform is considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in targeted marketing communications and customer experience.
