Description

The Senior Manager Implementation Project Management Ops provides day-to-day and strategic leadership to a team of Implementation leaders who are responsible for the successful implementation of Paylocity products for clients. This position is accountable for translating the company and operations goals and vision to the vision and structure of the department while

implementing appropriate management controls and processes. The position is accountable for a defined book of clients and all associated client Implementation projects, focused primarily on associates providing targeted support for client onboarding, training, engagement and utilization. The Sr. Manager is responsible for working with other operations leaders and other internal and external groups to forward the team, operations, and Paylocity objectives.

  • Responsible for effective and efficient end-to-end client implementation process. specifically: development and improvement of systems and documentation, escalation management and strategies to help the team meet their goals related to launch readiness and launch success.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design organizational structure and development needs for their organization. Creates workforce forecasting and plans to ensure staffing for the Implementation function, appropriate training plan and career - path development for our evolving business needs.
  • Responsible for defining the vision and developing goals for their assigned teams. Responsible for development of KPIs and reporting KPIs to senior management.
  • Responsible for capturing data and working with our systems development teams to build the capabilities needed to support our customers, allow for positive and efficient support experiences, and drive additional market opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing, developing, planning, and guiding strategic initiatives to achieve accepted goals and meet published SLAs.
  • Responsible for personnel staffing, morale, measurement, coaching, and employee development.
  • Responsible for evaluating processes involving internal and external partners and working with those partners to improve them.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional communications, identify process improvement opportunities, and build and refine launch processes, tools, and systems.
  • Responsible for leading the team to achieve productivity and financial targets while being accountable to the approved fiscal budget.
  • Support client-facing calls and escalations as needed to assist the team executing on launches.
  • Responsible for collecting data and driving development priorities using a data focused approach.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years in an operational management role, leading in a high-volume, client-focused environment.
  • 7+ years in Project Management:
  • Experience managing employees working on both task oriented and project driven tasks a strong plus.
  • Experience managing tasks in a matrix project management environment is a strong plus.
  • Proven success of management concepts and practices including supervising and motivating employees, performance management and employee development/training.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing control/auditing processes via a recognized process improvement methodology, (such as Lean Six Sigma), is preferred.
  • Experience developing and driving adoption of cross departmental processes preferred.
  • Experience working with payroll and/or HR data.
  • Experience with a multi-customer product is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with external parties required.
  • Strong collaboration, influence, and organizational navigation
  • Physical requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.


The base pay range for this position is $108,100 - $154,400/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
