Job Description:About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources based out of our Forest Park, GA, facility, a leading manufacturer of refrigerated dough. This role is an operational HR leader responsible for driving human capital initiatives and aligning HR practices with business goals across multiple manufacturing locations. Serving as a key advisor to leadership, this position oversees HR functions, champions a high-performance culture through effective employee engagement, employee relations, and compliance strategies, and partners with site leadership teams to support workforce needs across the region.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:- Foster strong partnerships with operations and production teams to drive business results while ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to department managers and front-line leadership on HR-related matters, including attendance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline.
- For represented sites; lead labor relations efforts, including contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and collaboration with union representatives to maintain a productive and respectful labor environment.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with employees to foster strong employee connections.
- Serve as a trusted resource, accessible to employees across all production shifts, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.
- Supporting the management, implementation and communication of fundamental HR programs, including recognition programs, employee feedback forums, engagement survey action planning, and plant communications.
- Interpreting and applying policies, ensuring compliance with standard practices and guidelines related to attendance, paid time off, job transfers, accommodation processes, etc.
- Managing the site's staffing and recruitment needs, including supporting onboarding and new hire orientation processes.
- Utilize our HRIS, Workday, for data entry and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Driving positive employee relations by timely and proactively addressing employee inquiries and concerns and supporting investigations.
- Ensure a high level of integrity is maintained and that personnel matters are handled in a professional, consistent, and confidential manner.
Important Details:- This is a full-time, onsite role with travel of up to 30% to manufacturing sites as required.
- The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $125,000 - 187,400 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. You'll fit right in if you have:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 7 or more years of related Human Resources experience is required, with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in a collective bargaining environment is required.
- Experience in a manufacturing plant environment is preferred.
- Excellent problem solving, and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong personal accountability for high-quality work with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience using HRIS Systems such as Workday and Dimensions UKG is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- May require flexibility in hours as needed.
- Bilingual language skills may be strongly preferred based on site workforce demographics and business needs.
