OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Human Resources to serve as a strategic partner to manufacturing leadership. This role will lead HR initiatives that support employee engagement, talent acquisition, workforce planning, compliance, training and development, compensation, and employee relations while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Leadership- Partner with plant leadership to drive employee engagement and positive workplace culture.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Administer corrective action processes consistently and fairly.
- Lead employee recognition and engagement programs.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning- Develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies.
- Lead staffing efforts, workforce planning, and full-cycle recruitment.
- Manage onboarding activities, including background checks, orientation, and new hire documentation.
HR Operations & Compliance- Maintain HRIS systems and employee records.
- Oversee payroll-related HR data and reporting.
- Manage leaves of absence, unemployment claims, and policy compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws.
Training & Development- Lead performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Partner with learning and development teams to support workforce growth.
- Support technical training programs and employee career development.
Compensation & Benefits- Manage compensation programs, performance reviews, and salary recommendations.
- Support employee benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Partner with corporate HR teams on compensation, benefits, and policy initiatives.
Team Leadership- Supervise and mentor HR staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
- Provide coaching and leadership to the HR team.
Required QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related field.
Experience- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
- Strong HRIS experience (Workday preferred).
- Demonstrated project management experience.
Knowledge & Skills- Strong knowledge of federal and California labor laws.
- Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and compliance.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
