SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are looking for a talented, experienced, enthusiastic Manager Sr, Human Resources to join our team. The role will be located in our corporate office in Fremont, California. The Manager, Sr, Human Resources serves as a strategic people leader and a key HR driver. This role leads HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and HR support teams to deliver high-impact, people-centered solutions that strengthen culture, elevate employee experience, and support business growth across California operations.

This position partners closely with senior leaders to shape organizational effectiveness, guide cultural transformation, ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws, and champion employee appreciation and engagement initiatives. The Senior HR Manager plays a critical role in building leadership capability, enabling change, and ensuring HR programs are executed with excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

STRATEGIC HR LEADERSHIP & BUSINESS PARTNERING
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing strategic guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and team performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of HR professionals and support staff.
  • Ensure consistent execution of the HR Business Partner model, enabling HRBPs to deliver proactive, solutions-oriented support to their client groups.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable HR strategies that drive results and strengthen organizational capability.

CULTURE, ENGAGEMENT & EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION
  • Champion a culture of recognition, appreciation, and inclusion across California sites.
  • Partner with leaders to embed appreciation practices into daily operations and reinforce company values.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, communication, and connection to the business.
  • Support leaders in building strong, healthy team cultures that promote trust, accountability, and high performance.

TALENT ACQUISITION, WORKFORCE PLANNING & RESOURCING
  • Oversee California resourcing efforts, ensuring the attraction and selection of high-quality talent aligned with business needs.
  • Implement modern, data-driven recruitment strategies and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Lead workforce planning efforts, anticipating talent needs and aligning hiring strategies with long-term growth.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and drive continuous improvement in time-to-fill, quality of hire, and retention.
  • Support internal mobility and succession planning to strengthen talent pipelines.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT & ORGANIZATIONAL CAPABILITY
  • Coach leaders on team effectiveness, communication, and performance management.
  • Support the design and implementation of leadership development, performance management, and succession planning programs.
  • Guide leaders through organizational change, ensuring alignment, communication, and adoption of new initiatives.
  • Promote continuous learning and capability building across teams.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, COMPLIANCE & HR OPERATIONS
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Conduct thorough, objective investigations and provide guidance on corrective actions and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of federal and California employment laws, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Oversee compensation programs, including bonus administration and general pay practices.
  • Ensure HR processes, systems, and documentation meet quality, ISO, and environmental standards where applicable.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Lead HR projects and contribute to company-wide initiatives that advance organizational goals.
  • Develop communication strategies, key messages, and execution plans for HR programs and change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and successful implementation of HR programs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement EHS programs within assigned departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of HR experience as a Business Partner with exposure to leadership development, OD, change management, compensation, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
  • 10+ years of HR management experience, including multi-site leadership in manufacturing environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • PHR certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of ADP HRIS

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Extended periods of sitting; occasional walking.
  • Use of PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes) when entering manufacturing areas.
  • Standard office environment with low noise levels.
