Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly strategic and technically fluent Senior Manager of Property Marketing Technology to lead the execution and ongoing evolution of our global marketing technology ecosystem. This role will serve as the bridge between marketing strategy and technical delivery, with accountability for building a scalable, high-performing digital environment across our global property portfolio.

Operating as both a strategic partner and technical leader, this individual will be a systems-thinker, owning the implementation of core platforms and frameworks across websites, analytics, attribution, SEO/AEO, privacy, and the integration of AI-driven capabilities across the digital experience. The role requires translating architectural vision into actionable solutions, ensuring consistent execution, performance, and compliance across regions, asset classes, and operating models.

Property Website Product Management:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the global property website platform, including CMS strategy, deployment, and optimization

  • Lead all website migrations, launches, separations, and platform enhancements across the property marketing portfolio

  • Ensure customer experience, performance, accessibility, SEO/AEO readiness, and compliance are embedded into product design and implementation

  • Drive consistency across internally managed and third-party managed assets

Marketing Technology Architecture:

  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools and capabilities, to enhance digital experience, operational efficiency, and marketing performance in partnership with Real Estate IT

  • Establish and enforce technical standards, with accountability for adoption and digital marketing performance outcomes

  • Balance global standardization with regional flexibility to meet business and regulatory requirements

Data, Analytics and Attribution Strategy:

  • Design and implement tagging architecture, analytics frameworks, and data validation processes

  • Ensure data integrity and alignment with business KPIs to support decision-making and performance optimization of website and technology ecosystems

  • Partner with data analytics and portfolio marketing teams to translate data into actionable insights

Privacy Governance & Compliance Leadership:

  • Define and lead the global strategy for consent management, cookie governance, and privacy policy frameworks, balancing regulatory requirements with marketing performance and customer experience

  • Establish scalable governance models for data collection, tracking, and consent that can be consistently deployed across regions, asset classes, and operating partners

  • Partner with Legal, IT, and vendors to translate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable, and enforceable technical solutions across websites and marketing platforms

  • Provide hands-on oversight during implementation, testing, and validation of privacy frameworks, ensuring solutions are deployed correctly and perform as intended

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science or Technology from an accredited institution.
  • 8+ years with demonstrated experience in marketing technology, digital platforms, or related roles in the real estate or property management industry

  • Proven experience owning and scaling digital platforms or ecosystems (not just managing components)

  • Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and regions

  • Experience contributing to or owning marketing technology architecture, platform decisions, and integration strategies

  • Deep understanding of website architecture, including CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Strapi), front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript), and tagging infrastructure

  • Advanced experience designing and implementing scalable tracking, tagging, and attribution frameworks across multiple digital properties

  • Hands-on experience with analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio), including implementation, validation, and governance

  • Expertise in real estate marketing technology ecosystems, including PMS/CRM platforms and system integrations across global environments

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity, attribution accuracy, and performance optimization

  • Ability to connect technical implementation to business outcomes, including conversion, lead quality, and marketing efficiency

  • Experience holding vendors and partners accountable to technical standards, timelines, and performance outcomes

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language

  • Unwavering commitment to integrity, ethical data use, and alignment with the firm’s Guiding and Leadership Principles

  • Compensation: New York - $118,000 - $165,000; Houston/Boston/London - compensation to be discussed

About Hines

The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited was a major British industrial combine, a group of businesses manufacturing military and sporting firearms; bicycles; motorcycles; cars; buses and bodies; steel; iron castings; hand, power, and machine tools; coal cleaning and handling plants; sintered metals; and hard chrome process. After the Second World War, BSA did not manage its business well, and a government-organised rescue operation in 1973 led to a takeover of such operations as it still owned. Those few that survived this process disappeared into the ownership of other businesses. BSA began in June 1861 in the Gun Quarter, Birmingham, England. It was formed by a group of fourteen gunsmith members of the Birmingham Small Arms Trade Association specifically to manufacture guns by machinery. They were encouraged to do this by the War Office which gave the BSA gunsmiths free access to technical drawings and to the War Office's Board of Ordnance's Royal Small Arms Factory factory at Enfield. New machinery developed in the USA installed at Enfield had greatly increased its output without needing more skilled craftsmen. This new machinery brought to Birmingham the principle of the interchangeability of parts.
