OVERVIEW:

As the Senior Manager, Global Portfolio you’ll lead portfolio governance and strategic planning for Global Customer Solutions, ensuring our project investments are prioritized, financially disciplined, and aligned to growth and cost‑improvement goals. You’ll partner closely with Global Customer Solutions leaders, Global MT SC PMO and regional teams to surface trade‑offs, manage risks and drive decision‑quality across the portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead portfolio governance and accountability: establish, deploy and continuously improve portfolio processes, stage‑gate rigor and reporting to ensure projects deliver expected outcomes.
  • Own financial process coordination and CIP (cost improvement program) reporting for the region; support financial cycles with clear impact assessments and trade‑off recommendations.
  • Drive proactive CIP generation using FPX and other methodologies; facilitate conceptualization and concept sessions to identify high‑impact opportunities.
  • Develop and refine strategic business processes that simplify ways of working and accelerate innovation and growth.
  • Maintain portfolio health oversight: assess program/resource/financial impacts, flag interdependencies and risks, and drive remediation actions.
  • Provide cross‑functional insights and recommendations to enable decisions and approvals in governance forums and leadership reviews.
  • Serve as the Global GCS liaison to MTSC PMO for intake, prioritization and alignment during financial cycles.
  • Lead, mentor and develop functional team members; provide onboarding, direction and performance management to build a high‑performing team.
  • Monitor project pipeline and resource capacity; recommend adjustments to keep delivery on track to strategic priorities.

EXAMPLES OF WORK YOU’LL DO:

  • Prepare portfolio health reports and comprehensive impact/risk assessments for governance forums.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional decisioning around prioritization, funding and resourcing during planning cycles.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis and follow‑through on portfolio issues that negatively affect performance.
  • Design strategies to increase agility and flexibility in portfolio management, including playbooks and process improvements.
  • Support leadership with data, analysis and narrative for strategic and financial reviews.
  • Drive adherence to portfolio processes and ensure consistent application of governance standards across projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

REQUIRED:

  • 12+ years experience in finance, logistics, supply chain, portfolio management or related functions.
  • Strong experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and complex, multi‑stakeholder programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships across commercial, operations and finance partners.
  • Comfortable making and explaining trade‑offs under uncertainty; proven decisiveness and risk leadership skills.
  • Clear, concise communicator with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong financial competence and familiarity with portfolio, CIP and business strategy development.
  • Proven people leadership: coaching, performance management and team development experience.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience leading process improvements, developing business cases and running organizational change initiatives.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or equivalent process excellence experience.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain interdependencies.
  • Track record building and developing diverse, high‑performing teams.
  • Hands‑on experience with data analytics tools and Planisware (or comparable portfolio tools).

OTHER:

  • This role supports global partners and will act as a key contributor to financial and portfolio governance cycles.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
