Job Description:

The Mars Snacking Global Senior Manager, Controllership Integration plays a critical role in delivering One Set of Financials across the combined Mars Snacking and Kellanova organization. This associate is responsible for driving execution of key controllership integration initiatives, including accounting policy harmonization, close acceleration, financial reporting transformation, intercompany governance, and finance systems implementation activities.

Working across a highly matrixed environment, this associate partners closely with Global Controllership, Regional Finance, Global FP&A, Corporate Finance, Digital Technologies, Internal Controls, external advisors, and legacy Kellanova teams to execute complex transformation initiatives while maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and controls. The role serves as a key liaison between finance, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure controllership requirements are appropriately incorporated into future-state processes and systems.

This is a temporary project role slated to end December 31st, 2027.

  • Scale and complexity in CPG industry
  • Proficiency and experience presenting to senior finance leaders


What will be your key responsibilities?

The Mars Snacking Global Senior Manager, Controllership Integration is responsible the following activities:
  • Accounting Policy Integration: Implement selected Mars GAAP accounting policies within Kellanova and ensure consistent application across regions and functions. Assess and address related financial reporting, process, and control implications.
  • Close Acceleration & Optimization: Support regional teams in accelerating and sustaining a three-day financial close through process improvements, standardization, and control enhancements.
  • Partner with the Accelerator workstream and business stakeholders to enable the reporting of Accelerator Brands within financial systems and management reporting structures, ensuring accurate, transparent, and decision-useful financial information.
  • CFIN Implementation Support: Support the end-to-end implementation of CFIN for Controllership, including financial process design, reporting structure alignment, controls integration, and go-live readiness activities. Support pre-implementation readiness and design effectiveness assessments, evaluate impacts to the financial close process, and ensure business reporting structures are aligned within the future-state CFIN environment.
  • System Transition & Legacy Tool Migration: Lead or support the migration of controllership activities from legacy tools and processes (including BPC and Anaplan) into future-state platforms, ensuring continuity of reporting, controls, and business operations.
  • Intercompany Governance: Partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and govern intercompany processes, accounting, and controls for transactions between Mars and Kellanova.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 169,840.00 - USD 233,530.00
