Job Summary

We are looking for a highly autonomous and technically proficient Sr. Manager, FP&A to serve as a key business partner on our commercial team. This is a "player-coach" role designed for a senior professional who can navigate the complexities of music finance independently, build high-trust relationships with label heads, and deliver sophisticated modeling that instills confidence in our executive team, Board and investors.

You will have dual ownership: vertical coverage of specific labels and horizontal ownership of catalog and publishing revenue / COGS across the entire group. You will be the "bridge" that ensures our acquired catalogs (masters and publishing) are accurately modeled, tracked, and reported. This is a hybrid position

Responsibilities

Label Partnership & Vertical Coverage

  • Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain direct, high-cadence relationships with Record Label Heads. Act as their primary finance partner, owning forecast accuracy, performance analysis, artist advances deployment insights, and financial support for key initiatives.
  • Business Unit Results: Deliver clear, transparent, and actionable financial results for assigned labels, ensuring label leadership understands their P&L drivers and ROI on capital deployment
  • Operational Integration: Partner with data, accounting and other cross-functional partners to help develop and monitor performance metrics, identifying specific risks, growth opportunities or efficiency gains within each vertical

Catalog & Publishing Ownership (Horizontals)

  • Revenue & COGS Accruals: Own the end-to-end performance modeling and accrual process for catalog and publishing revenue across all labels. Ensure COGS and royalty splits are calculated correctly
  • Post-Acquisition Integration: Work closely with M&A and Accounting teams to ensure seamless financial integration of newly acquired catalogs from the acquisition date forward
  • Data Integrity: Partner with Data to improve data governance and ensure all catalog assets are properly tagged, ingested, and recorded, so that every dollar is attributed correctly in our systems

Complex Modeling & Strategic Finance

  • Financial Architecture: Develop and maintain complex, scalable financial models to support executive decision-making and multi-year scenario analysis
  • Capital Raising Support: Provide critical support for capital raising activities (Equity and Credit), including sensitivity analysis, covenant compliance tracking, and liquidity forecasting
  • Board & Investor Relations: Prepare materials for Board meetings, investor presentations, and leadership discussions that provide clarity on business performance and strategic initiatives

Leadership & Systems Excellence

  • Team Mentorship: Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development
  • Tech Stack Optimization: Utilize and improve our finance tools (NetSuite, Sigma, Rippling) to consolidate financials and build customizable, real-time dashboards for leadership
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate across Music, Media, and M&A teams to validate assumptions and provide financial guidance on key corporate initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
