This role is a finance leader position supporting Baxter27s Front-Line Care (FLC) Welch Allyn business a nearly $1B division with Commercial teams located across the U.S. & Canada. You27ll be a finance partner responsible for helping the organization make smart, highimpact decisions about which to drive profitable operating results.
You27ll be a part of the financial planning and analysis team for UCAN Front Line Care (FLC) Commercial activities, including the annual operating plan, longrange plan, forecasting, and reporting. You27ll also play a key role in partnering with business, shaping decision making for short- and long-term profitable business growth.
This is a visible role that partners closely with senior leaders across Sales & Marketing, and the broader finance organization. You27ll be a key person the business relies on to develop and report financial data into clear insights, challenge assumptions, and guide decisions that drive profitable growth.

Applicants should be located within commuting distance of Deerfield, IL or Skaneateles, NY and work on a hybrid schedule from one of those locations.
What you27ll be doing
Lead financial planning activities for Welch Allyn Sales and Marketing organizations, including the annual operating plan (AOP), long-range plan (LRP), forecasting, and reporting processes.
Manage annual operating expense budgets and periodic forecast updates for U.S. Welch Allyn Sales and Global Marketing teams.
Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Canada Front Line Care business, providing financial reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance against plan, identify key variances, and explain business drivers.
Lead finance responsibilities for chargeback and commission accrual analysis across U.S. Welch Allyn incentive programs.
Act as the finance subject matter expert for SAP chargeback and incentive compensation processes.
Prepare executive-level reporting, profitability assessments, commercial performance scorecards, and P&L reforecasts to support business decision-making.
Represent finance on cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, SEC requirements, and Baxter financial policies.
What you27ll bring
Bachelor27s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other advanced certification preferred.
10+ years of progressive finance experience, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision support.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
Experience partnering with commercial organizations, including Sales and Marketing teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities with a proactive, business-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage competing priorities and build effective partnerships across a complex, matrixed organization.
Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis tools; SAP experience is preferred.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 -$187,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
