Full Job Description
Description:

You bring operational rigor and a talent for building creative, memorable experiences that make attendees stop in their tracks. Sales teams and vendors love working with you, and you know how to hold them to a high standard. You obsess over event lead and ROI metrics while knowing how to emotionally connect an audience to a brand.

If this describes you, keep reading.

What you will do:
  • Set the field marketing strategy across multiple territories, aligning event investment with pipeline and revenue targets and building the frameworks the broader team uses to plan and execute.
  • Own the full event lifecycle at a program and portfolio level, from strategy and planning through execution and post-event analysis, across virtual and in-person experiences.
  • Partner directly with sales, marketing, and executive leadership to select, prioritize, and optimize the event portfolio, ensuring every program earns its place on the calendar.
  • Own budget and pipeline targets across multiple regions, driving lead generation and revenue impact through disciplined forecasting, tracking, and optimization.
  • Build and manage vendor and agency relationships at scale, negotiating contracts and setting the standard for cost efficiency and execution quality across all programs.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to field marketers and coordinators, raising the bar for execution and building bench strength on the team.
  • Report on portfolio performance to executive leadership, translating data into clear recommendations that shape future investment.
  • Build the measurement frameworks and reporting cadence that let the company evaluate event ROI consistently, in partnership with analytics and operations.
  • Champion best practices across field marketing, setting the standard for execution, experience quality, and accountability company-wide.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of B2B event and field marketing experience across in-person and virtual programs, including experience running a portfolio across multiple territories or regions.
  • A track record of partnering with sales leadership, not just sales teams, to shape territory strategy and accelerate pipeline creation.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other marketers, with the ability to build team capability alongside personal execution.
  • A data-driven mindset with deep experience analyzing event performance and building measurement frameworks using CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • A strong ownership mindset with accountability for results across a multi-region field marketing program.

  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to distill performance data into insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Experience marketing to technical or security audiences is a plus.
  • Based in the time zone of your territory.
  • Willingness to travel 30 to 40 percent as required to support regional events.
