The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a Senior Manager, Employee Relations, to join the Americas Employee & Labor Relations (ELR) leadership team.

This San Jose based role will lead a team of Employee Relations professionals supporting a large and diverse business portfolio. Beyond portfolio leadership, it also serves as a strategic leader within the broader ELR function. It combines outstanding people leadership and deep employee relations expertise to shape enterprise wide priorities, improve organizational capability, and drive initiatives that impact how ELR supports employees, managers, and the business.

What You'll Do

Build and ead a High-Impact ER Team
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Employee Relations team known for exceptional consultation, sound judgment, and meaningful business impact.
  • Build a strong leadership bench through coaching, development, and meaningful opportunities that expand capability, exposure, and career growth.
  • Set high standards and accountability while strengthening capability across ELR through coaching, calibration, and shared learning.


Set Strategy and Lead Through Complexity
  • Define and implement the ER strategy for a large, complex business portfolio, aligning priorities to enterprise strategy, workforce trends, and emerging risk.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior business and HR leaders.
  • Guide critical workforce decisions and complex employee matters with significant business, employee, legal, or reputational implications.
  • Turn data, trends, and employee insights into actions that address risk, identify systemic opportunities, and improve business outcomes.


Shape and Deliver the Global ELR Agenda
  • Sponsor and lead Americas and global initiatives that strengthen Employee Relations, promotes shared learning, and advances the function.
  • Partner across regions to develop scalable programs, practices, and solutions which balance global consistency with local requirements and strengthen the collective capability of global ELR.
  • Lead high-visibility, cross-functional work from strategy through implementation and adoption.
  • Leverage AI, automation, data, and innovative technologies to transform ELR delivery, generate insights, and create more capacity for coaching, consultation, and complex problem-solving, while establishing and promoting responsible AI practices that preserve privacy, fairness, and human judgment.


What You Need to Succeed
  • Significant experience leading Employee Relations teams in a sizable, multifaceted organization, developing talent and building high-performing teams.
  • Deep Employee Relations expertise across performance, conduct, conflict resolution, workplace concerns, and organizational change.
  • Experience shaping ER strategy for complex business portfolios and influencing high-impact workforce decisions.
  • Proven ability to advise senior leaders and navigate sensitive, high-stakes employee matters with sound judgment.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives across business groups, functions, regions, or geographies.
  • Ability to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities across and translate insights into meaningful action.
  • Interest in the responsible application of AI and emerging technologies to enhance Employee Relations.
  • A genuine passion for Employee Relations, developing people, and building what comes next.


Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $141,500 - $250,875 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.In California, the pay range for this position is $173,300 - $250,875

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
