The Opportunity

Step into a national leadership role where your expertise in emergency management, crisis response, and corporate security protects people, operations, and communities. As Senior Manager, HSSEQ Emergency, Crisis and Security, you'll define and elevate programmes that ensure readiness, resilience, and rapid response across WSP.

Your Impact

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary HSSEQ emergency and crisis management team

Design and implement enterprise emergency and crisis management programmes, including policies, procedures, and training

Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and define mitigation and response strategies

Direct emergency response structures, communication protocols, and escalation processes

Act as a key advisor and incident command contact during live crises

Drive continuous improvement through post-incident reviews and lessons learned

Develop and expand corporate security strategy beyond current government project scope

Ensure compliance with Government of Canada Contract Security Program requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, HR, IT, and global crisis resources

Strengthen organisational resilience by anticipating emerging risks and threat

Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 8 years' experience including leadership roles

Deep expertise in emergency management, crisis response, and security frameworks

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices

Proven ability to lead complex programmes and multidisciplinary teams

Excellent analytical thinking and risk assessment capabilities

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills

Experience managing corporate or government-related security programmes

High level of organisation, attention to detail, and adaptability

Advanced proficiency with MS Office and collaboration platforms

Bilingualism in English and French is required

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 - $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 - $184,600
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $133,200 - $176,900
