Primary AccountabilitiesLead a team that will perform risk assessments.
- Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
- Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
- Investigate high-complexity issues, gather/research and track related information, serve as a "go to" person for team members related to the investigation, and make decisions/problem resolution and/or recommendations, as appropriate, and guide business leaders regarding potential changes.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports, including annual performance reviews.
- Assist, oversees, and influences business partners and senior business leaders to ensure that adequate compliance.
- Research applicable laws and regulations, analyze their effect on business practices, and work with Legal Department partners to clarify requirements and address related issues. Identify and take action.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Demonstrated experience developing business guidelines and procedures.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of financial services industry.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of process improvement processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of audit and internal controls.
- Solid knowledge of compliance standards and practice.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
- Solid knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory requirements,
- Demonstrated communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills.
