Job Description Summary:
This role can either be remote or based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • All Senior Labor Compliance Specialist responsibilities.
  • Manage labor compliance group, which oversees labor compliance across the company. Working in conjunction with appropriate people from Operations and other SI Departments, oversee, administer and update the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.
  • Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
  • Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations that might affect labor compliance policies and procedures. Identify and share best control practices, including software, as it relates to labor compliance, and advise on needed changes to be implemented in such.
  • Manage the investigation of identified or reported compliance issues, working in conjunction with business leadership, and appropriate SI departments, determine appropriate action.
  • Participate in third party/Government reviews, audits and inquiries, working in conjunction with the appropriate departments and outside resources.
  • Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
  • Attend external training and actively participate in industry related compliance organizations to ensure Company is aware of and prepared for current trends/issues associated with the labor compliance areas.


Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
  • Seven years experience in the labor compliance in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor.
  • Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language, particularly as it relates to areas relevant to labor compliance.
  • Ability to comprehend Government and other regulations and determine proper applicability to Company's business.
  • Current on industry issues related to labor compliance, and as they apply to the Industry.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
