Senior Manager, Commercial Operations
Role Overview
The Senior Manager of Commercial Operations is responsible for leading assigned new equipment customer efforts from bid/no-bid through contract execution. This role ensures timely, high-quality, competitive proposals and contracts that balance Mitsubishi Power's commercial risk with customer requirements. The Senior Manager serves as a primary commercial interface for customers and EPC partners on assigned opportunities and manages a small commercial team.
Lead proposal execution for Gas Turbine / Combined Cycle and Hydrogen Generation & Storage opportunities, ensuring on-time, compliant, and competitive submissions.
Serve as primary commercial liaison to Owners and EPC customers for assigned proposals.
Develop and execute winning bid strategies in collaboration with Sales and Engineering.

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of: equipment supply, EPC and LTSA contracts, pricing structures, cash flow, guarantees, and LDs.
Ability to assess and articulate commercial risk.
Fluent in English (verbal and written) required. Japanese and/or Spanish a plus
