Full Job Description
About the team

We're looking for a creative, strategic storyteller to own brand amplification, organic social, and communications at Alloy.

This role sits at the intersection of editorial and execution - driving the external brand presence that makes Alloy recognizable, credible, and compelling to the financial institutions and fintechs we serve. You'll own organic social strategy across channels, lead client storytelling including joint PR and case studies, and serve as content lead for conferences, webinars, speaking opportunities, and panels. You'll also manage PR, award submissions, speaking submissions, and act as a creative and strategic thought partner to the Marketing Leadership Team and broader GTM org.

Reporting directly to the CMO, you'll manage a graphic designer and coordinate external agency and freelance support. This is a high-ownership role for someone with strong editorial instincts, deep social media and AI fluency, and the judgment to operate independently in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week.
What you'll be doing

Amplify Alloy's Brand in the Market
  • Serve as the primary owner of Alloy's external brand voice, ensuring consistency and resonance across organic social, PR, and content channels
  • Define the communications strategy that increases Alloy's brand awareness and share of voice
  • Build scalable editorial processes that enable consistent brand storytelling
  • Translate Alloy's positioning into compelling narratives that land with enterprise fintech and financial services audiences
  • Act as a creative thought partner to the CMO and senior stakeholders, bringing editorial judgment and strategic instincts to how Alloy shows up externally
  • Influence company messaging and positioning in partnership with Product Marketing and Executive Leadership

Own Organic Social
  • Develop and execute organic social strategy across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and other relevant channels to increase visibility, credibility and engagement among target audiences
  • Build and manage a content calendar that reflects Alloy's brand voice, amplifies company moments, and engages our target audience
  • Collaborate closely with the Demand Gen Team to align organic content with our paid media channels and strategy

Lead Client Storytelling
  • Own the full client story pipeline: case studies, client testimonials, joint press opportunities, and co-marketing initiatives
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and clients directly to surface compelling proof points and develop them into polished, publishable assets
  • Ensure client stories reinforce Alloy's core proof points across onboarding, fraud, and compliance

Own Conference, Event, and Speaking Content
  • Serve as content lead for Alloy's presence at external conferences, hosted events, and webinars - from abstract submissions to speaker coordination to on-site execution
  • Manage speaking submissions and panel placements, including ghostwriting and prep support for executive speakers
  • Partner with the Demand Gen team to ensure event content integrates with broader campaign strategy

Manage PR and External Recognition
  • Manage award submissions and industry recognition programs
  • Develop and maintain press materials that reflect the current brand positioning
  • Own Alloy's PR relationships and day-to-day media coordination, in partnership with external agency support
Who we're looking for
  • 8-10+ years of experience in brand, communications, or content marketing, with meaningful time in a B2B or enterprise environment
  • Strong organic social skills, especially LinkedIn, but also experience with other channels such as X/Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and more. You understand what drives engagement with a professional, enterprise audience and can build a following
  • A creative, innovative storyteller with a track record of building brand presence and driving editorial output in fast-moving environments
  • An experienced people manager who is comfortable running a small team, working with external agencies, and getting hands-on with the work yourself
  • AI-fluent and actively leveraging AI tools, including Claude, to accelerate content production, ideation, and workflow efficiency
  • Strong editorial judgment and taste - you can spot a good story, write clearly, and maintain a consistent voice across formats
  • Highly collaborative with the maturity to serve as a thought partner to execs and senior stakeholders
  • Previous fintech or financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Brand and/or design sensibility is a plus
