  • Apply and oversee a range of modeling techniques, from statistical models to advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning, to support risk-based Client Risk Rating case generation and customer risk assessment.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional partners involved in CRR model development, testing, monitoring, and implementation activities.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for model methodology, assumptions, limitations, analytical results, testing outcomes, monitoring, and implementation evidence.

  • Lead communication with first and second lines of business and other stakeholders, recommending changes to AML Client Risk Rating models where appropriate based on analytical evidence, model performance, and risk considerations.
  • Ensure model users understand model limitations, appropriate use, governance requirements, and the operational impacts of model changes.
  • Support prioritization, planning, and execution of CRR model initiatives, including remediation, modernization, optimization, and regulatory or audit-driven deliverables.
  • Monitor emerging regulatory expectations, industry practices, data science methods, and financial crime risk trends to support continuous improvement of the CRR model framework.
