Overview

HarperCollins is seekingan AdvertisingSenior Managerto manage media buying across multiple digital platforms and multiplepublishing imprints. They will help develop ad plans for new and existing booksin collaboration with the publishing teams,executeand optimize campaigns, and createtimely and dynamic reporting for all stakeholders.The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, anda deep subject matter expert in digital market platforms, such asMeta, TikTok, Reddit, andthe Trade Desk.They can quickly plug into existing workflows, build campaigns accurately, and execute against internally defined strategies with strong attention to detail.They also have a client-services mind send to ensure all media buys, reporting and invoicing needs are handledpromptly,withhigh-touch communication and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Overseemedia buyingacrossHarperCollins adult and childrenstitles, underthedirection of Director, Advertising (roughly40titles/season)
  • Execute paid social advertising campaigns across multiple self-serve platforms including, but not limited to, Meta, TikTok,SnapChat, and Reddit, ensuring campaigns are set up accurately with strong attention to detail
  • Advise on advertising strategies based on past and current campaign performance
  • Regularly update marketing teams on statusand performance oflive campaigns,andprovide and implement recommendations for improvement
  • Set up and launch programmatic campaigns via The Trade Desk
  • Weeklyand ad hocreporting for high-level campaigns

Qualifications
  • 4yearcollege degree orequivalent work experience
  • 4+ years advertising media buying experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Meta ads is required; experience withothersocial advertisingplatforms like Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.is strongly preferred. Must have deep familiarity with modern Meta campaign structure and best practices. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and proactive about staying on top oftechnical campaign trends and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage high campaign volume with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly analytical; able to review performance data and identify opportunitiesand clear action itemstoimprove
  • Musthave agency or internal client services experience andthrive on working closely with different teams and satisfying multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency withcreative development tools (e.g. Canva,Veo3)andAirTablea plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Background in consumer marketing preferred
