Reporting to the Manager, Finance Contract Administration, the Contract Administrator undertakes financial administration with a focus on the review and validation of supplier invoices. This role provides support on other financial administration activities for lower complexity transactions.
What you'll be doing - Lead engagement with federal government stakeholders, including Global Affairs Canada, and represent the Corporation in committees, consultations, working groups, and strategic export initiatives.
- Manage Government of Canada-facing activities supporting International Prime Contracting (IPC) opportunities, including ministerial engagement, governance and approval processes, executive briefings, pipeline reporting, and government-to-government agreements and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with government departments, agencies, Crown corporations, industry associations, and key partners to advance organizational objectives and strengthen collaboration.
- Identify, develop, and coordinate partnerships and stakeholder engagement initiatives that support IPC priorities, trade diversification, information sharing, and business development objectives.
- Support IPC business development efforts through stakeholder engagement, government relations, market coordination, and pursuit planning activities that advance strategic export opportunities.
- Facilitate collaboration between pursuit teams and government stakeholders, including participation in Government of Canada Deal Teams, Global Affairs Canada's Strategic Export Office, and the development of engagement strategies for priority pursuits and markets.
What you'll bring to CCC - An undergraduate degree in Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Communications, Law, or related discipline. A master's degree in Public Policy, International Affairs, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in government relations, international trade, stakeholder engagement or business development and experience liaising with ministerial offices and leading the coordination executive-level requests.
- Demonstrated success building and managing strategic relationships with senior government officials, industry representatives, and external stakeholders to advance organizational objectives.
- Proven ability to prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, correspondence, and recommendations for executives and senior decision-makers.
- Strong experience coordinating complex initiatives, projects, or engagement activities with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze policy, legislative, regulatory, and market developments and provide strategic advice that supports business objectives and informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with Government of Canada processes, governance structures, and stakeholder environments is considered a strong asset.
- Bilingual in both Official Languages required (CCC)
