Job Summary We are seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer with strong experience building Java-based backend services and modern frontend applications. The role will lead features end-to-end, from design and development through deployment and support, while working effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in scalable microservices, distributed systems, modern UI frameworks, AWS cloud services, API development, observability, containerization, and AI-assisted software development. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant Java-based microservices. • Apply distributed systems principles to build reliable and high-performing backend services. • Lead features end-to-end, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. • Develop modern frontend applications using frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt.js, React, Vue, Astro, or Svelte. • Design and develop APIs using REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures. • Generate and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation for APIs. • Leverage AI-assisted code-generation and development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor. • Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services, including ECS, Fargate, IAM, VPC, and serverless components. • Integrate applications with Amazon Bedrock or similar AI/ML services. • Implement containerized application deployments and cloud-native orchestration patterns. • Implement observability and monitoring using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. • Apply metrics, logging, distributed tracing, and auditing practices to support application reliability and troubleshooting. • Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Required Qualifications • Strong experience developing Java-based applications and scalable microservices. • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, and/or Spring AI. • Strong understanding of distributed systems and resilient, fault-tolerant application design. • Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework, including Next.js, Nuxt.js, React, Vue, Astro, or Svelte. • Strong API development experience with REST, GraphQL, and event-driven messaging architectures. • Experience creating and maintaining Swagger/OpenAPI documentation. • Hands-on AWS experience with core cloud services, including ECS, Fargate, IAM, VPC, and serverless services. • Experience with containerization and cloud-native deployment patterns. • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace. • Strong understanding of application metrics, logging, distributed tracing, and auditing. • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor. • Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock or similar AI/ML service integrations. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose. • AWS Solutions Architect certification. • Additional hands-on experience across AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
