About the role:

As a Senior Lead, Small Business Collections, you will drive the operational strategy and performance excellence of our pre-charge off collections team. This role focuses on fostering a high-performance culture through strategic mentorship, data-driven process optimization, and the implementation of innovative, scalable solutions. You will be responsible for balancing operational efficiency with an exceptional customer experience, championing continuous improvement, and building collaborative partnerships across the organization to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and optimize collections team performance by setting strategic goals, refining operational structures, and driving KPI maximization.
  • Leverage data trends in reporting to identify procedural challenges and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Champion continuous improvement in dialer efficiency and operational workflows to drive maximum results.
  • Cultivate high-performing teams by implementing best practices, targeted coaching, and professional development strategies.
  • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships, proactively addressing the needs of key business stakeholders.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from conducting interviews and making hiring decisions to managing comprehensive onboarding programs for new talent.
  • Facilitate regular one-on-one coaching and performance reviews to foster growth and accountability.
  • Execute ad-hoc strategic initiatives as directed by management to support organizational goals.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of leadership experience in Consumer or B2B Collections
  • Experience in fintech, digital lending, or a customer-oriented bank.
  • Expertise in building strong relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Ability to quickly resolve problems and adapt to changes with ease
  • Experience making data driven decisions
  • Familiarity with the US regulatory landscape for commercial and consumer collections (FDCPA, state-level rules)
  • Passionate about AI and how to incorporate these technologies to better serve and support borrowers

Compensation:

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $79,900 to $101,970. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
