Full Job Description
Are you ready to join a team of ambitious professionals and help us simplify the world of data management? As an Implementation Specialist, you will play a critical role in crafting, configuring, operating, and improving our customers' Cohesity infrastructure. Your expertise will enable us to successfully implement data protection, file-sharing, operational recovery, and data security solutions.

The ideal candidate has considerable experience both implementing technical solutions as well as enabling others through training and documentation. Experience in data center operations, working with change controls, change freeze windows, address and interaction with internal support teams as well as external vendors is essential.

This role requires a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance, which per federal regulations requires U.S. citizenship.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
  • Utilize your technical knowledge and intuition for business to help Cohesity customers design and operate their data protection and data security solutions.
  • Work closely with customers to resolve technical obstacles and tackle unique challenges.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between customers and our Engineering, Sales, Support, and Technical Marketing teams.
  • Proactively resolve any issues which could impact data recovery operations.
  • Identify any opportunities for improvements or additional product sales.
  • Configure and improve operational reporting to ensure flawless performance.
  • Identify and address any issues that may affect data recovery operations.
  • Collaborate with our technical teams to keep system software up to date and configured according to recommended standard processes.
  • Discover ways to improve products and increase customer satisfaction through identifying areas for improvement and additional sales opportunities.
  • Facilitate contract renewals by providing technical validation and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key personnel in the customer's organization.
  • Provide leadership and support for any data recovery or Smart-Files related issues.

Additional Considerations
Cohesity Resident Engineers will work with customers in their required time zones and locations, as well as their calendar and holiday schedule. This position may be performed remotely or on-site, depending on the customers' requirements. Infrequent travel could be required for quarterly or annual planning meetings, depending on the customers' needs. As a Resident Engineer, you will be subject to compliance with the customer's security requirements, including background checks.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$137,360.00-$171,700.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.

We strongly prefer candidates who are currently located in or near the designated job location. Candidates outside the area should apply only if they are committed to relocating prior to their start date and have the legal right to work in the job location.
