Full Job Description
About the Team:

The Launch team operates at the intersection of every major aspect of Terran R, from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. The Cape is the only place where you see it all come together, offering a level of exposure and responsibility unmatched elsewhere in the program. This is where first flights happen, where history is built on top of history, and where the scale of what's underway is unlike anything in modern aerospace. The mission stays the same, but the work evolves with every milestone: from first launch to reuse, high-cadence operations, and beyond. If you're looking to define what's next in space launch and write a new playbook, not just repeat what's already been done, this is where it happens.

About the Role:
  • The Senior Operations Technician is a highly experienced hands-on contributor responsible for executing complex vehicle integration and pre-launch operations on flight hardware. This role supports system-level assembly, checkout, rework, and troubleshooting across structures, fluids, and avionics systems for Stage 1, Stage 2, and payload integration activities.
  • Senior Operations Technicians are trusted to resolve off-nominal conditions, verify hardware configuration, and execute procedures with precision while protecting flight hardware and maintaining configuration integrity. In addition to technical execution, this role provides floor leadership, mentors junior technicians, and partners closely with Engineering, Launch Operations, and Quality to ensure vehicle readiness and mission success.

About You:
  • 5+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related technical field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations
  • Broad technical skill set including:
    • Fastener installation and torque applications
    • Secondary retention methods
    • Mechanical and systems testing
    • Avionics familiarity

Nice to haves but not required:
  • Ordnance experience
